UPDATE - Omantel roll out the MetroLan1000
After trialing the MetroLAN1000 in May 2008, Metrodata's partner in the Sultanate of Oman has begun the main roll out of the first 10 units for Omantel, the largest communications service provider in the Sultanate of Oman. The MetroLAN1000, which is designed and manufactured in the UK to high quality standards provides the transportation of multiple E1 (and multiple Ethernet) over a fibre link. Using this in a point to point application a configuration wizard makes an efficient and easy set up procedure so that no engineer training is required.
