Metrodata is pleased to announce a new range of Multiplexers for transporting E1 Services over fibre infrastructures. Emux is available with 4, 8 or 16 E1 ports and supports resilient dual fibre connectivity, presented via SFP modular interfaces for maximum flexibility.
Emux offers a lower cost alternative to the popular MetroLAN series SDH multiplexers for those customers wanting simply to transport multiple E1s over fibre, including Managed Network Operators requiring remote site fan-out of E1 services. Emux is fully manageable, both locally and remotely, and supports comprehensive test and diagnostic features.
E1 presentation is via RJ45. For customers requiring onward distribution of individual E1 services over fibre, combining the popular MetroRack platform offers a resilient and flexible approach to fibre service delivery.
