Metrodata’s HSSI product range allows a wide variety of HSSI equipment to be connected together either directly or via high speed leased lines. The HE1000 HSSI extender offers the ability to extend HSSI up to 150 metres over coaxial cable. The Baseband Converters allow HSSI and LVDS equipment to be interconnected (e.g. routers, cryptos and satellite modems).
Metrodata’s HSSI converters allow routers with HSSI ports to be interconnected via a variety of high speed leased line services, as well as connected to router with different port types including Packet-over-Sonet (POS).

Metrodata's Baseband Converters mean that existing/legacy equipment can be used with the latest LVDS Cryptos. Typically used to interface Cisco HSSI Routers to LVDS Cryptos, or LVDS Cryptos to HSSI Satcom Modems or HSSI Radio Relay Systems, Metrodata's Baseband Converters present a major step forwards in solving interoperability and interfacing issues within Defense networking.
