Introduction to the product range

This "hands on" course covers the DC & FM Range of interface converters and the ATM DSU range.
Configuration and management of all products will be included. The course will include sample applications for the products. This course is designed for engineers who will be installing and maintaining these products. (This course does not include the AP Range)

Designing & Building Networks with Metrodata DSUs

This course will be heavily based on applications for the product range. It will cover Frame Relay, Virtual Private Networks (data and voice), ATM networks and how Metrodata products can be used in these scenarios.
This course is designed for System Engineers who are designing networks and need to know how to include Metrodata products.

This course starts off with the history of telecommunications and how it was developed from a voice system to cater for a need to pass data from site to site. Technologies covered are PDH, SDH, Frame Relay and ATM.
(Although this is not a Metrodata product course, I will be mentioning how certain products can be used)

Introduction to ATM and it's application

This course looks in some detail on how ATM works, Why it is needed and then how Metrodata products can be used to enable real world applications to pass over an ATM network.
